The holiday season is here and we would love for you to celebrate with us.

McLoone's Rum Runner will be serving a special Christmas Eve dinner from 4 - 8 pm featuring a special a la carte menu and music by Barbara King. They will be closed on Christmas Day.

McLoone's Pier House at Pier Village will serve their regular menu on Christmas Eve and will be open Christmas Day serving dinner from 12 - 5 pm.

McLoone's Asbury Grille will be open on Christmas Eve serving their regular menu but will be closed on Christmas Day.

McLoone's Woodbridge Grille will be closed on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

McLoone's Pier House at National Harbor will be serving their regular menu on Christmas Eve but closed on Christmas Day.

Fall is in full swing at all of our locations. We have many specials that we are anxious to share with you.

At McLoone's Rum Runner you can enjoy Happy Hour from 4 - 7 pm with $5 sunset martinis, $5 sunset sangria, and $5 appetizer specials. Early Bird Specials are available Monday through Friday from 4 - 5:30 PM. Enjoy a three course dinner for $17.95! On Thursday evening, Rum Runner has introduced Lobster Fest! For $39.95 you can enjoy unlimited lobsters along with a soup and salad while being entertained by Barbara King on piano. on Sunday, stop by to enjoy our famous brunch from 10AM - 3 PM. The cost is $27.95 per person and $14.95 for children ages 4-12.

McLoone's Pier House in Long Branch is also celebrating Fall. You can enjoy the following Daily Drink Specials:

Mojito Mondays, 'Tini Tuesdays, Wine Special Wednesdays, Thursdays is Coronita Day and then it's Firefly Fridays. Pier House is also offering Early Bird Specials. McLoone's Asbury Grille will be hosting the beach bonfire party on Friday, 10/15. In celebration we are declaring it Family Fun Night! Kids eat for free and while they are there they can decorate pumpkins and get their face painted! Asbury Grille is now also serving a Sunday Brunch Buffet from 10:30 AM - 3 PM for $29.95 per person and $12.95 for kids ages 4-12. Early Bird Specials are available on Monday - Friday from 4 - 6 PM. Tim McLoone's Supper Club has some exciting acts headed your way. Joe Piscopo and his ten piece band will be appearing for two shows on October 23rd. Tickets are $39.95 or $75.00 with dinner. Also appearing this month, on 10/22 will be Inside Drivers, a real road house band that will get you singing and dancing along. Next month you can be there for the debut performance of Motor City Revue on 11/5. They are a band comprised of some of the areas favorite talent with faces you will surely recognize. Our popular Wednesday afternoon series has expanded. Now, besides the Afternoon Cabaret Series with Vincent Talarico, we also offer Laughs 'N Lunch, a showcase of the nations funniest comedians. Be sure to reserve in advance as Wednesday afternoons have been selling out. On Wednesday evening we will offer Traditional Irish Sessions led by Francis Kiernan. It's hard to believe that the summer is flying by so quickly. We have been blessed with beautiful weather and what better way to enjoy it then dining by the sea or river at one of our waterfront locations.

Our newest location, McLoone's Pier House at National Harbor (in Maryland) opened with great success in late June. It is now open 7 days a week serving both lunch and dinner. The sunsets from our beautiful vantage point right on the Potomac are spectacular. The staff takes a moment every night to celebrate nature's ritual. Every Friday and Saturday you can also find live entertainment in our Piano Bar. Tim McLoone's Supper Club has wonderful acts in store for you this summer. Our very popular Afternoon Cabaret by the Sea series starring Vinnie Talarico has been selling out so be sure to call and reserve for future shows. Tickets are $39.95 which includes lunch and the show as well as tax and gratuities. In the evenings this summer we will feature performances by A Taste of Tango, Kinderhook Creek, Bob Burger, Dinner with Diamond, two appearances by Bob Bandiera, Bob Egan's showcases, and of course Tim McLoone and The Shirleys. Dinner is served before all shows and reservations are suggested.

McLoone's Asbury Grille is the place to stop for a casual lunch or dinner after the beach or a day at the boardwalk. As a matter of fact, there is no better place to dine and view the fireworks every Wednesday. On Thursdays, The Asbury Park Concert Band performs right in front of the Grille. The concert is partially sponsored by no other than....... us! Come by and dine while enjoying their music.

Speaking of music, McLoone's Pier House in Long Branch has entertainment six nights a week, Tuesday through Sunday. Every Tuesday it's Bruce Foster, Wednesdays it's Pat Guadagno and Richard Blackwell, Thursdays are Rob Dye and Melissa Chill and the weekend brings such favorites as Bob Burger, The Intentions, Electric Boots, Carl Gentry, BethAnne Clayton and more. It doesn't end there though because you can end you weekend on Sunday with some great music too! Please check the website for a full schedule. It continues to be a popular summer destination with both inside dining and casual dining at their Boardwalk Grille. They also have a take out menu to cater to beach goers.

And last but not least, McLoone's Rum Runner is offering specials at their Tiki Bar throughout the week. This is also a great place to catch a the sun setting over the Navesink River or sit and watch the boats go by. There is live music at the Piano Bar on weekends with such favorites as Carl Gentry, BethAnne Clayton, Barbara King, Vance Villastrigo, Bruce Foster, Tim McLoone joined by Bob Bandiera, Jim Celestino, and Bruce Foster.

Although we have not quite reached the official date on the calendar, summer is in full swing at McLoone's Restaurants. Outside dining at all of our Jersey Shore locations is a great way to spend an afternoon or a lovely summer night.

Then move inside on Friday and Saturday to enjoy the best of local entertainment in our piano bar such as BethAnne Clayton, Carl Gentry, Melissa Chill and Rob Dye, Barbara King, Bruce Foster, and of course Tim McLoone. Stop in to sample the delicious offerings that our new Executive Chef, David Lombardo, has created. The summer entertainment schedule at Pier House is expanded to six days a week. Bruce Foster will be there every Tuesday, Pat Guadagno and Richard Blackwell on Wednesdays, and Melissa Chill and Rob Dye on Thursdays. McLoone's Woodbridge Grille at Favorites continues to be a popular spot. Beat the crowds at the tracks and enjoy delicious food from our new menu. Our banquet room is also available for private events.

The Asbury Park Boardwalk is buzzing away with activity and McLoone's Asbury Grille and Tim McLoone's Supper Club are in full summer mode. Boardwalk dining is very popular and we have added dining on our upstairs balcony as well. Sunday Brunch has become very popular and is available from 10 AM - 2 PM upstairs in The Supper Club. The Supper Club is also serving an early dinner for those folks going to shows. As for entertainment, we have some great acts in store for you. This Sunday Taste of Tango returns. On Wednesdays, The Supper Club is the place to be with both our Afternoon Cabaret by The Sea series as well as The Jazz Lobster Big Band Dance Night with a spectacular view of the fireworks. Some of the upcoming acts will be Pat Guadagno & friends featuring the music of Danny Petraitis, Jeffrey Gaines with Max Seidman, & Jeff Cafone of Outside the Box, Darren Williams with "The Peter Allen Songbook", and of course Tim and The Shirleys. Our newest restaurant, McLoone's Pier House at National Harbor, is just about ready! Executive Chef Pat Taylor (formerly of McLoone's Pier House in Long Branch) is putting the finishing touches on our Special Opening Menus. A grand opening is scheduled for June 28th. With a beautiful view of the Potomac, we will be THE place to view sunset and plan to celebrate natures ritual each night with a countdown clock, music, and specials. It has been said the McLoone's is the first name in dining and entertainment! So from Middlesex County, to the Jersey Shore, and now to the shores of the Potomac enjoy your summer with us.

Yesterday we celebrated the fifth anniversary of McLoone's Pier House. It is hard to believe how much has happened since we took that leap of faith and opened our second location back in 2005. It has made quite a name for itself and is a favorite of Jersey Shore visitors and locals alike. With a great new spring menu, outdoor dining, as well as the entertainment and views we are famous for, please stop in and visit us.

Since the opening of Pier House, development has been moving along at a steady pace. Even with an economic climate that was less than favorable, McLoone's Restaurants opened McLoone's Woodbridge Grille within Favorites in Fords, and in Asbury Park, Tim McLoone's Supper Club and McLoone's Asbury Grille. We are about to spread our wings a bit further and move to yet another shore............the banks of The Potomac. McLoone's Restaurants proudly announces an agreement with The Peterson Companies of Fairfax, Virginia for the opening of their sixth restaurant, McLoone's Pier House in Maryland's National Harbor. This waterfront restaurant will offer upscale American cuisine for the entire family. The Piano Bar will feature live entertainment and with its full water views of The Potomac River, McLoone's Pier House will be THE place to view spectacular sunsets while enjoying cocktails or dining. The anticipated opening date will be July 2, 2010.

But don't think that just because we are involved in a new project, exciting things are not still on the horizon here at home. We have a wonderful array of upcoming events that should please everyone.

At McLoone's Rum Runner the early warm weather has prompted many people to come and enjoy dining on our Boathouse Deck overlooking the Shrewsbury River. New spring menus are in use so be sure to stop by for a taste. Speaking of taste, A Taste of Sea Bright is Saturday, May 1st and tickets are available for purchase at Rum Runner. Besides our regular schedule of wonderful entertainment, we have added an extra show for that night. BethAnne Clayton will be performing downstairs in our Piano Bar. Upstairs, in our Riverside Room, Kristian Rex and Carl Gentry with Electric Boots will be making a special appearance. This is their first show at Rum Runner. We hope that all of their fans can come out to support them.

Meanwhile, down in Asbury Park, the Spring schedule at The Supper Club is really heating up. Tonight we welcome Jazz great, Dave Valentin with Richie Flores and Bill O'Connell. They will be performing music from their Triple Play album. Next week we will feature Jeffrey Gaines who Rolling Stone Magazine heralds as the voice of a new generation. Opening for Jeffrey will be local favorites Bob Burger, Lisa Bouchelle, and Jimmy Leahey. In May, we are proud to present the legendary BEN E. KING in concert for two shows on Friday, May 28th. What a great way to start your Memorial Day weekend. John Tropea, who is known as a musician's musician, will also be back on June 4th. And of course, there will be many great nights with Tim McLoone and The Shirleys including an encore performance of their Tapestry Show on June 11th. Our newest event, Sundays with Sinatra Brunch has already proven to be a popular addition. There is simply not enough room in this blog to mention each and every exciting event that will be happening at The Supper Club. Please check out our website for a full schedule.

McLoone's Asbury Grille will be rolling out their spring menu within the next few days. With its large outdoor dining area right on the famous Asbury Park Boardwalk as well as a great view from inside, there is no better place to watch the world go by. On a sad note, McLoone's Restaurants and Tim and The Shirleys sadly mourn the loss of Delores Holmes, beloved friend, long time member of The Shirleys, and devoted Mom to Layonne. Delores was also one of the original members of Holiday Express. The memory of her warm smile and beautiful voice will continue to enrich our lives.

Spring is finally here!! What a great weekend we just had. Outdoor dining was open and very popular in our Jersey Shore locations. Nothing better than enjoying a meal in the sunshine after the long winter we had. We have some exiting events coming up that we thought we would share with you.

McLoone's Rum Runner will be participating in the Taste of Sea Bright Trolley Ride on Saturday, May 1st. Tickets will go on sale April 1st and will be available for purchase at Rum Runner. To add to the fun of the event, on May 1st Rum Runner will welcome Kristian Rex and Carl Gentry with Electric Boots to their upstairs Riverside Room for a night of great music and dancing. BethAnne Clayton will also be performing downstairs at the Piano Bar that night. So mark your calendar. It will be a fun day all around at Rum Runner!

On Wednesday, April 14th, McLoone's Pier House is will be hosting their semi-annual beach clean up as part of our companies green initiative. The public is invited to join in and help the environment. Meet us in the lobby of Pier House at 10 AM. Pier House will be participating in Jersey Shore Restaurant Week which will be April 16th - 25th. Stop by that week and enjoy a special three course prix fixe menu offered at $30.10 per person.

The grand opening special at McLoone's Asbury Grille is back! Enjoy 50% off your lunch or dinner this week. The offer ends on Thursday, March 25th so be sure to stop in and enjoy! The Asbury Grille will also be participating in Jersey Shore Restaurant Week. They will be offering a three course prix fixe menu at $20.10 per person.

On March 28th, Tim Mcloone's Supper Club will begin serving Sunday brunch with live entertainment. This week you can enjoy Sundays with Sinatra featuring the music of Frank Sinatra. McLoone's Pier House will feature Bob Burger on Friday, 1/29 and Kristian Rex, and Carl Gentry with Electric Boots on Saturday, 1/30. Down in Asbury Park, The Supper Club will be closed on Friday due to a private event but you can catch The Jazz Lobster Big Band on Saturday, 1/30. Carl Gentry will be at McLoone's Rum Runner on Friday, 1/29 and The Melissa Chill Duo will be there on Saturday, 1/30. Something for everyone all weekend long!

Valentines Day is right around the corner. We are celebrating both Saturday and Sunday so be sure to call for your reservations.

And for those that like to plan in advance, The Nelson Riddle Show will be back at Tim McLoone's Supper Club in March with an all new show, "Studio Sessions". Reservations fill up quickly on this so we encourage you to call now. They will be appearing on Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th and the ticket price is $79.85 including dinner. At their last show, we literally had to turn away hundreds so don't miss it!! We also have a VIP cocktail hour on Thursday, March 4th during their rehearsal. The price for this is $50 per person and will give you a rare chance to see what goes into producing such a spectacular show.

A new decade.........a new form of communication.

Welcome to the very first blog from McLoone's Restaurants. What better time to embark on the journey of this newest form of communication then the start of the new year and the start of the new decade! Perhaps the best way to begin is to take a look back on our year in review. McLoone's Rum Runner celebrated it's 23rd anniversary with a festive party in October. That was not the only party this year. In the Spring they hosted a deck opening party to showcase renovations done to their Boat Deck. Proceeds from this event were donated to The Marine Mammal Stranding Center. And to continue with their philanthropic endeavors, Rum Runner once again prepared and served meals, along with other Holiday Express volunteers, for over 700 people at St. John's Soup Kitchen in Newark, NJ on Christmas Eve. McLoone's Rum Runner continues to be a premier dining, banquet and entertainment destination at the Jersey Shore. It certainly has the longevity to prove it! McLoone's Pier House is now in it's fifth year of operation. They were hosts to such events this year as a Wine Dinner which served Holly Crest wines to benefit Holiday Express and our semi-annual company wide Beach Clean Up. Pier House also assisted Holiday Express by preparing meals for Eva's Village, a shelter in Paterson NJ. McLoone's Pier House has established itself as a favorite for ocean front dining, banquets, and entertainment too! McLoone's at Favorites celebrated it's second anniversary in October. With a casual menu as well as some of McLoone's signature dishes, this location has a loyal following. The successful business model, located within the New Jersey Sports and Exhibition Authority's Off Track Wagering Facility, has opened the door for future opportunities. McLoone's Restaurants will also be present when the NJSEA opens the doors to their new facility in Bayonne in 2011. McLoone's at Favorites assisted Holiday Express this year by providing meals for Medallion Care Psychiatric Facility. Down in Asbury Park, Tim McLoone's Supper Club has established itself as a premier entertainment spot. It was even mentioned in the Year in Entertainment in the Asbury Park Press! Besides being THE place to see the very best in entertainment, The Supper Club also participated in fund raising endeavors. In the Spring, they hosted a cocktail party reception that benefited The Asbury Park Mounted Police Unit at which time they presented the Police with a $10,000 donation check to assist with the upkeep of the unit. Meanwhile, downstairs on the boardwalk, McLoone's Asbury Grille (formerly Salt Water Beach Cafe) has become a favorite destination as well. With a new casual and fun menu, and a cozy fireplace, it is a great place to spend a winter day while still enjoying a view of the ocean. And of course in the warmer months, the expanded outside dining area is the perfect place to enjoy lunch or dinner. On Christmas Eve, both restaurants prepared and served 600 meals along with Holiday Express at Trinity Soup Kitchen in Asbury Park. We invite you to stop by and visit soon.
